By underground

take the U43 Wickede – Dorstfeld / to the Rüschebrinkstrasse station / change into the bus no. 427 terminating at Hörde, get off at the Rennbahn stop.

By bus

Take the bus no. 427 Hörde – Schanhorst / get off at the Rennbahn stop

 By car

You reach the Galopprennbahn most easily if you take the B1 / Westfalendamm.

When coming from Unna/Kassel:

• Take the exit Stadtkrone Ost (Hauptfriedhof / Rennbahn),
• turn left at the end of the exit, into the street “Am Gottesacker“,
• after almost 1 kilometre, follow the turn in the major road to the left, which brings you into the Rennweg,
• after around 500 m you’ll see the Galopprennbahn on your right.
• If the first parking lot is already full, follow the directions of the attendants, they will point you to further parking lots.

When coming from Dortmund city centre/Bochum:

• Take the exit Stadtkrone Ost (Hauptfriedhof / Rennbahn),
• turn right into the road “Am Gottesacker“ at the end of the exit,
• follow this road till it ends,
• follow the turn in the major road to the left, which brings you into the Rennweg,
• after around 500 m you’ll see the Galopprennbahn on your right.
• If the first parking lot is already full, follow the directions of the attendants, they will point you to further parking lots.
